Help!

Bloomin eck I've managed to lose one of my ligatures!! The way my teeth are sitting at the moment I think the bottom ones have actually bitten it off because I've found it and its not popped off its actually been cut through. But the problem is i've literally just been in to get one of the brackets fixed that came loose, and I cant possibly get anymore time off work to get back there before I go on hols! So my question is, is it gonna do any harm to just leave it without the band until my next adjustment or is this gonna cause me any problems? Has this happened to anyone else?
