hi well i was looking down the invisalign and clearstep route but was confused to..my dentist says they are virtually the same product but invisalign is an american product which uses aligners and buttons on the teeth and is more well known as it is american. clearstep is a british company which is still expanding but as well as the aligners it does other products too if a patient needs them such as coda, and closing screws etc for thise who have extractions to allow the gap to close efficiently. also think about the fact that if you lose or break an aligner if you go with invisalign itl take AGES to get from here to america then back from america to manchester for you. whereas clearstep is a UK based company and so there service will be a lot quicker. in essence they are a very similar product.theres alot of info on invisalign and some great blogs but not many for clearstep so just have a look around :)

I've just started my first week of Invisalign aligners and the whole process from the consultation to now has only taken a few weeks, I've been really impressed with the speed of Invisalign so I don't think that should effect your decision. The only thing I don't like are the buttons on my teeth, I'm only a week in so not used to them yet and it is effecting my (usually high) confidence ever so slightly, but the braces themselves can barely be seen. Having read some other discussions on Clearstep I don't think there is alot in it price-wise, my twelve month treatment plan was £3k from a London practice, which is quite reasonable for Invisalign. I wish I had known a bit more about Clearstep beforehand though so I could've weighed up the pros and cons too, but I think they are pretty much level pegging. I have noticed alot of the Clearstep treatment plans seem to be longer than Invisalign but not sure if that's down to Clearstep or the idividual.
Sorry can't halp with the Manchester dentist but good luck! :)
