Eep. I just got my braces on today- a week after my 18th birthday. My ortho had brackets on my top teeth for a month so that I could get used to them, and I've gotten four teeth pulled within that month.. but today I actually took the big leap and got them on! :-* Two years of these babies!

I'm getting ready to start 2 years of braces on Thursday myself.

How are things going now that you've had your braces for over a week? For me it was painful for a few days, but now the sores in my mouth have healed and I only have a small amount of tenderness in my front teeth. Hope the braces are working out as well for you as they are for me!
