My braces Journey...

#1 Post by mbnz230 »

I had braces put on like a month and half ago and here's the progress.

Before August, 1 2012:

First day with braces Aug 2, 2012:
I think they forgot to put on the O-ring on the top front crooked tooth.

After 30 days, August 30, 2012:
The smaller tooth next to the top front crooked tooth has moved alot outward. I dont think that was not the plan, if they didn't forget to put the o-ring the crooked front tooth. So they put a spring on it this time to make room.

Here's a little problem, I am not sure how the orthodontist will be moving this tooth (canine)outward, its there a technique or something, since it's are the corner of the arch. i am not feeling any pressure at all even with the spring as pictured.

My next appointment is on 9/27/12, can't wait.

The road to straight teeth is a long one, but we will get there.

wow, looking back at my first post here in archwired.com it has been 3 years and I finally got it. I was 26 then and 29 now. Time went by fast. Member for 3 years with only 5 post that's got to be a record lol.

any braces experts here that can tell me if it's easy to move that canine tooth outward. maybe a stronger wire or something.

also the orthodontist told me it will take about 8 months for me to finish treatment, i hope everything will go as planned.

my first post in 2009, it's been so long...
