I posted this in the Bracket Club before by accident. i meant to post it here.
Here is the ortho's dignosis:
1.Good facial esthetics.The upper lip is protrusive relative tp the lower lip tends tobe everted or curled due to the protruding upper front teeth.
2.The lower jaw is somewhat recessive relative to the upper jaw and this results in a malaligneg bite between the upper and lower back teeth on the right and left sides in a front to back direction as well as upper front teeth which protrude or stick out more than average.
3.The vertical overlap of the upper front teeth past the lower front teeth is greater than average i.e. deep overbite with the lower incisor teeth almost impinging onto palaltal tissue.
4.The upper front teeth procline or lean towards more than average and this contributes to the protrusion of the upper front teeth.
5. The upper right lateral incisor appears to be a permanent tooth but it is notably smaller than average and has a small slender root. The upper left lateral incisor could be a very small permanent tooth or i think it is more likely deciduous upper left lateral inscor. The upper left decidupus cuspid is till present and the upper left permanent cuspid is unerupted and palatally impacted. There is a bulge in the palatal area.
6. The upper right second molar is tending towards a crossbite with the lower right second molar and the upper left first bicuspid is in crossbite with the lower left first bicuspid.
7. mOderate crowding is present in the lower arch and the lower front teeth are irregular on position. The lower right second molar is tipped forward and partially impacted.
8. The lower front teeth procline or lean outwards somewhat more than average.
9. Four third molar teeth are developing and will try to erupt in the later adolescent years.
I am going to get my top ones put on tomorrow (May 20) I am really excited i can't wait. I have looked at the colour palate for the ties and i have chosen a colour called "screaming pink". I am getting my bottom ones put on in 6 months. Thanks for reading! I'll let you know how it goes.
