Clear Aligner Crack

#1 Post by 88oscar »

I am wearing a retainer currently but my ortho has said if your retainer breaks or cracks you can use your clear aligner as a replacement so your teeth wont move.
Recently my Clear aligner has only cracked right at the back on the bottom tooth. My question is if i did have to use this a a replacement would it still do its job?

I don't know the answer to your question. But my thoughts are that I wouldn't risk it. How upset would you be if it wasn't doing its job?
