Hello! I am new to these boards. I am 41 years old and scheduled for a Lefort 1 on October 1st. Any other late Sept or early October friends out there?
I get my surgical hooks on Tuesday and then have my final appt with my oral surgeon on the 24th. The next couple of months sure will be interesting!

I had my lower jaw and genioplasty surgery on October 4. How did yours go?

Hi! Congrats on your surgery.... everything with mine went beautifully! I am very pleased with the results and my ortho is so happy that he said I might even get my braces off earlier than normal.... He may take them off in February. Right before surgery, he said March/April so I am thrilled with February. I wear bands for 10-12 hours at night (triangle formation on both sides and I can open/talk with them in). I am 42 years old and really don't want to have braces on any longer!!! How did yours go?
