Anyone get cracking after jaw surgery?

I've had upper and lower jaw surgery about 2 months ago. Not my greatest experience but anyway, the main issue I'm having at the moment is in my upper jaw a part of it cracks every time I touch my teeth. I can even physically move a part of it and it makes a cracking sound (very mild but very annoying). Not painful, but obviously disconcerting. Any idea what it could be?

No, but I think I would call your surgeon right away on this one. Make sure they see you in person so you can show them what you mean, not just a phone call.

Hi I'm over 2 months post op and no cracking. But from what I understand the cracking noise can take up to 6-months to a year for it to go away. You should bring it up with your next visit to the surgeon nonetheless.

My jaw was fine for 6-months after surgery before it started cracking and jumping and became painful. Still struggling to get help on this.
