Invisalign Stale Breath!

#1 Post by CAM! »

Hello!
So i've had my trays for about 2 weeks now, and I haven't really had problems with "bad/stinky" breath, but rather "stale" breath. HAs any one had this? And how do they prevent it, help it out some how? My mouth used to fill up with saliva a lot when I first got my trays, but now not as much. So it kinda makes my mouth normal wetness, but with plastic trays. I brush and floos after every meal, and also brushing my trays too.

Please keep in mind I do drink lots of water and I do go to school 8 hours a day... and speaking with other students is kinda of a scary thing for me to do, unless im far away

Brushing your trays doesn't kill the bacteria that is making them smell. You need to use a retainer cleaner like Retainer Brite (which we sell at DentaKit.com).
I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!
