Dental implant in place of extracted wisdom tooth

Has anyone had a dental implant in place of extracted wisdom tooth? My face collapsed on the left side after the lower wisdom tooth on that side was extracted 2 years ago. Your input is deeply appreciated.

I see no one has responded to your question and there are no updates. Did you ever decide on an implant? What have you found out?

Evidently, there wasn't room to compensate the wisdom teeth so hence the extraction.

How would extracting a third molar cause the face to "collapse"?

The bite will collapse yes I have that too replace it as fast as you and don't get teeth removed it's unnecessary find an non extraction orthodontist they do exist

Did you get dental implants in place of wisdom teeth? Do you find any difficulty with the procedure? I have heard it would be difficult to treat since you left it without any treatment for 2 years.
