Wire tie on bottom tooth gap is baggy - 1 WEEK IN BRACES

#1 Post by bmac32 »

Hi I had my ceramic top metal bottom fixed brace fitted last Wednesday 27.05.16 and the pain is all gone and I can feel my teeth are a little loosened up, I had to have 3 removed pre brace, 2 bottom, 1 top.
They put wire tires aswell as the arch wire on the bottom gaps and a powerchain on the top gap - I feel like they need to be tightened already - one of the bottom gaps especially as the wire tire is baggy ie I can wiggle it - there is no force to it anymore...???

I would call your ortho's office and ask. I don't think anything should be wiggly but they can decide if it's worth taking a look at.

Let us know how it goes as I'm getting braces next week and nervous about the long period between appts.
