Husband Need Time Off?

#1 Post by HiKitty »

So my surgery is next Tuesday, and I don't have any family or friends that can come help me. Now, I know everyone's different with the SARPE recovery, but my husband needs to know now what days to request off of work. How long do you think I'll "need" him for? Thanks!

My partner took off the day of my surgery (Friday) to this Wednesday. So he goes back the 11th, 6 days, I wish I had him longer. I had Lefort + BSSO.

HiKitty, with both my surgeries, I found days 3-4 to be the worst. I would suggest he take the rest of the week off, that is Tues-Fri. If he's not M-F, probably Tues-Sat.

It's good to have someone near the first five days. Good luck with the operation.
