Numb upper lip

7 days post op upper jaw only. Upper lip is still very numb and I have no movement in it all. Even when I smile nothing moves. Anyone else been through this and has a guestimate on when I will have muscle movement back?

It'll slowly come back - my lower lip was numb immediately post op, but I had pins and needles very quickly after, and now 5.5 weeks later it's slowly getting better.

I get worried that my lips will get use to being rested on the braces?? does anyone else get this?
