Metal braces, gaps, and triangle teeth !
Okay 16 weeks in with metal braces top and bottom ... I'm a mature brace wearer. Should be finalised September time. Considering 10 emax veneers on top teeth. First zoom whitening top and bottom. Anyone know or considering having veneers after braces? Cost is ridiculous mind

yes and no, cost is not a factor for me since I can get them for about 125 euros (maybe even less) each but I am still not sure because I would like to use my teets without worrying too much about the veneers coming loose or breaking

Hi godutch .... they're pretty strong. As long as you don't use your teeth to open things and be careful. With good oral hygiene can last 20 years and don't stain. £700 per tooth I'm quoted, ie £7,0000 fitted - after a wax up and temps to see if I like them. I too prefer natural teeth but these emax veneers are tempting and less bulky and durable. I'll just never have any money!!! Tried to put a pic on here if my teeth but on my iPhone and 'file too large'

the weak spot is always the bonding to your own teeth. I am considering them with zirconium incisal edges but still.... I think I will wait for when my braces go off and talk to the laboratory that makes them.T1braces wrote:Hi godutch .... they're pretty strong. If you really want you you could start with 4 or 6, premolars really don't show that much and always have a slightly different colour than the front teeth (the canines are usually very different from premolars and front teeth)
