4 weeks in braces

I just joined and want to introduce myself. I am 44 years old and wearing braces for the very first time, I never had them as a kid. Tomorrow will be four weeks in braces. I have wanted braces for awhile and I am so happy to finally straighten this smile! I have always liked my smile, just not the few crooked teeth that always stood out to me, friends always say they never noticed. Anyway, I am doing this for me and so far it is going well. I have ceramic and have noticed some staining with the clear ligatures because I drink coffee daily, enjoy red wine and curry occasionally. Suggestions on ligature color to avoid staining are welcome.

Hey its only my third month in braces but of the colours Ive had I would say the navy blue didnt stain a bit and they also make your teeth look whiter. Theyre also not bright, if youre worried about it being noticeable.

My ceramics are self litigating so I don't have staining. But because they are self litigating, they are more noticeable! I've read lavender elastics and light blue are good too.
