Braces at 25!
I have finally got my braces on at the age of 25, i have clear fixed braces on the bottom and the top, estimated time to be braced is 15 - 18 months! Three days in and i am just beginning to feel normal with them in my mouth, i cant wait to start to see a difference! I am having trouble with sores in my mouth but i suppose that's normal!! I will be starting a blog to track my own progress !
Re: Braces at 25!
Hope this new week has been better. And yes, cheeks getting used to it is normal. For me, Ive been in braces now 4 months, and by month 2 things were a lot better, but by month 3 things were way better. But now, little poking wires here and there, especially now with power chains, the irritation begins again. But it will subside. Congrats!

how is the 4 month mark? much progress? i am week two now and things are all normal, other than my gums seems to be bleeding more. and one little bit of my gum seems to have come a tiny bit unattached at the top, but its settling down now, i suspect from teeth becoming loose its cause it a little distress!
I would love to know how your progress is so far, when did you start seeing a difference? my next appointment isnt untill the 22nd of august!

Same here in month 4, got power chains around a month ago and same little poky wire irritation. I went in about a week later but they could not clip the wire, just file because it was so short. It did subside, but now closer to my next visit, still in power chains, wax is my new friend again. Its really not that bad though, I often forget about them at this point.

That's awesome to hear! I noticed a lot of changes in my first couple weeks as well. It definitely makes the beginning a lot easier when you see progress so quickly. Hopefully it keeps up!Amybraces wrote: I have seen so much change in the last few weeks! its amazing!!!!!!!!!
