Teeth feel very tender whilst waiting for trays

Hi

I am currently taking a 2 weeks break whilst waiting for my refinement trays to come.

My ortho told me to wear the current trays at night only (to give the teeth a break), my teeth feel very tender when the trays are out for a long period....

Is this going to get better? or should I pop the tray back when I feel it's moving?

Any advice/experience to share?
