Retainers and Gum Reshaping

I just got my braces off over a month ago and I'm thinking about undergoing gum contouring. Once this procedure is done, do I have to get my retainers redone???
Uppers on August 19
Lowers on January 11
Freedom on July 4???
(I'll keep my elastics crossed...lol)

Oh I was thinking about this as well!! I don't see as to how your gums would affect your gums, but do any doctors have an opinion?
Damon 2's top and bottom, BRACED 02/22/04 and REMOVED 08/29/05. Now in bonded retainers (top and bottom) :4 wisdom teeth surgically removed on 12/22/05:
