Had another adjustment yesterday. He didn't change much but today my teeth are feeling it! (no pain, no gain!!) This time, the ortho put a bend in my upper wire right where my gaps are. Then they put a new power chain on top and reversed the direction of my elastics again (they overcorrected again, so I had an underbite). It feels like my teeth moved
a lot between that visit and today. My gaps feel so much smaller!
The ortho told me he's thrilled with my progress! That always makes me feel good
There was a kid (probably around 10 or 11 years old) getting his molar bands fitted today, which I remember all too well... (the assistant had a lot of trouble fitting mine and tore my gums up). The assistant would tell this boy to bite down and he would moan (with his mouth open), "OoOoOoohhh.. aahhhh".. lol! I don't know why I found it so entertaining.. just glad it wasn't me, I guess.
I'm hoping that one year was the longest stretch of my time in braces.. here's hoping for 2 more months!! (haha, I can dream, can't I?!)
