1 month to go and not satisfied!

#1 Post by sarah23 »

I'm thinking that it just comes down to genetics??

Maybe it's just me or maybe there's really something just not right... my 4 front teeth still seem to be a little funny?

I'm wearing elastics to finish my bite. That seems to be okay. The smaller teeth next to the big teeth seem to be real wacky... but supposedly my roots are straight... my ortho put a band (that is yellow) on the one tooth to make it go in more... but I'm not really sure what it is that isn't right? Now it seems to be the tooth on the other side that sticks out a little differently. Maybe those teeth just need reshaping and it's the perception? There doesn't seem to be space to move them any differently... they are just kind of stuck there, therefore, genetics.

Any opinions??

Thanks!!

i love ur teeth...i don't really see anything wrong with them...unless it's from another angle...i know what u mean tho, b/c i spend long periods of time staring at my teeth and noticing that one of my front teeth is a mm longer than the other one, and hardly anyone else notices it...lol...so as many ppl on this site say, u're your worst critic...but honestly, i think your teeth are great...

I think your teeth look wonderful and I also think that once the brace is off any slight imperfections will be far less noticeable.

Remember when you first had your brace on... The brace really did make you teeth look more crooked? Well I know it has for others and it certainly made me realise just how bad mine were, so I guess once its off and you aren't looking at the wire and the brackets etc your teeth will look just wonderful..

I think your teeth look fantastic. I agree with the others, you are your own worst critic. Having said that the ONLY think I see is that your left lateral (the one in the right on the pic) is ever so slightly rotated. And your centrals could be evened out a bit at the bottom, which could be causing the illusion you are describing. But other than that I think you have a smile to be very proud of. I wish my teeth looked like that!

Hey! I don't think there's anything wrong with your teeth at all. They look great! Good luck with the debanding!

Your teeth are straight but they are off center. Kinda like what Tom Cruise had where one of the front teeth was at the center. Other than that they are nice.
