Hi,
Ive just found this board whilst looking for info on clear braces. I looked into Invisalign and have now choosen Clearstep which is basically the same. I had my impressions done today and they will be fitted in a couple of weeks. They are going to push my teeth round so they are in the middle and close the gaps, plus push my 2 teeth at the side of my 2 front teeth in so they are straight, at the moment they stick out a bit. The second set he said will hopefully move my top teeth upwards and so i won't have a gummy smile anymore, so we shall see!
My question is I'm not very good with pain hence i didn't want veneers! I'm really worried they are going to hurt? Is it more of an ache than a bad pain? Does Nurofen or other pain killers help to ease it a bit and how long does it last? Sorry for so many questions but I don't know anyone else my age with a brace. i'm 28 by the way.

iv just turned 28 i can answer the pain question for the 1st couple of trays i used pain killers before putting in new trays now i do not bother, the best time to put them in is friday night because they are in until morning without removing and because its the weekend u can get used to them before going to work hope that helps a bit
