don't leave your 'liners in a hot car

#1 Post by yvart »

Hi everybody -
It's 100 degrees in the shade where I am in PA - just thought I would mention to everyone, in case they haven't heard it before -
to NOT leave liners in a hot car!
Good luck everybody, I hear so much neg. about Invisalign on this site, it scares me. But so far (week 8 of 34) I am doing fine with it.
keep cool,
Tracy

Why shouldn't you leave the aligners in a hot car?

no liners in a hot parked car

For the same reason you wouldn't leave your child or pet in a hot car! The liners can melt slightly out of shape, according to my orthodontist. I haven't tested it, but I wouldn't want to find out if they do melt at 110 degrees or more ...
