All the red tape...

#1 Post by science teacher »

My OS called this morning. My BC/BS will not review my surgery until my dental denies it. And then they won't say if it will becovered until the review it.

Surgery is set for 1:30 11/22 with check in at 11:00.

I am assuming no matter what the insurance says we will go ahead. My ear still hurts a lot from the TMJ and I am NOT a grinder.

Yes all the insurance stuff is a pain in the you know what. It took BC/BS about 1 month to review mine and get back to me but it was submitted just before Christmas........ so the holidays may have slowed it down a bit. Good luck!

How frustrating for you! My insurance (Metlife) told me that it would take 10-15 wks for them to review mine. So I decided to go through with it anyways! I figured I'd be paying for most of it a out of pocket anyways.
