In a week, I have another adjustment. I think there has been quite a bit of movement.

The lowers have moved apart some. There is a really dark stain on the back of one tooth. It's caused from sitting directly on the other tooth for so long I think. The good news is that it's not a cavity.

Wow! Your teeth are looking really great! I hope your appointment next week goes well

I had some staining on a few teeth too, my dentist was able to polish them right off. I bet you will find the same thing!

Hi Jen,

Just read your whole story, and the pics tell it all! Must be very gratifying to see all the movement. Not long now till your next appnt, and there must surely be space now for bringing that bottom tooth into line.

I had an adjustment today and I think a lot of movement is going to happen with my teeth. It was incredibly painful because they are now engaging the wayward lateral on the lowers. They put in the lightest wire for the lowers and wire ties. I think the pain I felt when the ortho assistant was connecting the lateral was the worst I have ever felt. But it is now connected. The uppers got a stronger wire.

Glad to hear you had a good adjustment, eventhough it was painful... But it's fantastic news the the wayward lateral has been hooked up.

My lower lateral has shown a lot of movement. I'm really excited. There is now actually a gap in the lowers that may have to be closed. I will have my next adjustment the week before Christmas.

I've just read through your story. You're doing very well. I also have a hidden lateral on the bottom which isn't connected yet, I have a spring between the two teeth in front of it. It's hard to imagine it ever being connected but looking at your story I can see that great things can happen. You must be really pleased with your progress.
