Oh yes you should if at all possible. I have found that it feels so good to brush my teeth now. Like a massage on my sensitive gums (I have a sonicare and I love it!) I love that clean teeth feeling :)

If your in an area where you can brush your teeth by all means go for it after the meal. If not like I am always out on calls for fighting a fire or something and I have a meal before fighting a fire I cannot just stop responding to a fire call to brush my teeth I have to wait until I get back from the call.

i.e.

Eating breakfeast made in the morning for the whole crew, get half way done and we get called out to a MVA (Motor Vehical Accident) with that and the cleanup it took us about two and a half hours to deal with so when I got back to the station I went straigt to the bathroom and brushed my teeth! Just try to brush possibly after every meal or the very second you have a chance to!

Congrats, Dymond! (I was wondering about you :) )
Yes, brushing after every meal is advised. You'll find that you won't feel completely clean until you do. It's a pain, not the mention a little weird, to brush in public bathrooms, but I've realized that it's all in my head.
Have you assembled your "braces kit" yet?
