Bleeding stopped after about 6.5 hours (using both tea bags and gauze).

:) :) :) In other news, percocet is incredible.

I did, however, accidentally take it on an empty stomach, but ate a bagel and soup 30 minutes later. Because of that, I'm incredibly dizzy, and I'll go lay down now.

Thanks for the advice, and I'll try my hardest (believe me) not to get a dry socket.

Thanks again,
Peter

Being incredibly dizzy has nothing to do with taking it on an empty stomach. It's just the drug. Taking it on an empty stomach may cause you to get sick to your stomach, but that doesn't happen to everybody. Happy drugs. You'll feel better in a few days.

I'm so glad the bleeding stopped with teabags :) The percocet should help you rest and heal soon. I can't take percocet ,the last time I did I almost fell off my bed! I was halucinating that I was fighting and was trying to run away. They gave it to me when I had a c-section so that's some pretty powerful stuff!

Thanks guys, any idea how to reduce this swelling? It's so bad that it's actually harder to eat today than it was yesterday.

I've tried ice (which, THIS IS SPAM PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE ADMINISTRATOR. THIS IS SPAM PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE ADMINISTRATOR. THIS IS SPAM PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE ADMINISTRATOR. Also, when can I start brushing again?

NinjaNoodle,

I got 4 wisdom teeth pulled in Nov. 2006, so I know you can not wait to feel normal again. Use ice pack for the swelling. I think you can only apply them for about 15 minutes at a time though. It took about five days for my swelling to go away. Don't forget to do the salt water rinsing and no spitting, just drool. You do not want to risk dry socket. Get plenty of rest and hydrate. No straws. I hope you feel better soon.
