My husband lost his job just after I have decided (signed the invoice) to get my braces (Invisalign). He was searching for a new job for the last two month and got now a job far away (250km ) . We will be separated for up to a year I think but I will try to get a job in “hisâ€
Sorry to hear of your dilemma. I understand about not wanting to wait. Once you make up your mind to do something you hate for something to stand in your way.
This is just my thoughts: If this is what you really want go for it. Who knows - you may be out of the braces in less than 2 yrs time and the few long distance visits won't be too much of a hassle. Also, if you have orthodontic insurance that you can use - do it NOW while you can take advantage of it. Best of luck to you.
P.S. - I don't believe you can be bound to the contract unless you have already started treatment. Also, most people are considerate and if you explained your situation maybe they would work with you.
Currently I´ve not I´ve started the treatment right now and I think I will move in the end of this year or in the beginning of the next year (hopefully I will find a good job there).
I suppose I will finish the treatment with "my" ortho where I have started the treatment. The only problem is that they have closed their office friday afternoon. Therefore until now I don´t know how this will work when I have a new job and need to have holidays in the first few weeks there But I think this will be the best way for my treatment and it´s "only" 3hours away.
