Hi Denise,
I have been catching up from just before the new couch. Looks very comfy! I got figure 8 ligs last time, and have certainly been feeling them the entire 3 1/2 weeks. And my jaw has too. (see pictures at bracket club). Something feels different each day, or even changes during the hours of the days. And the rotated tooth is talking a lot, wanting to get the show on the road. Your "new chin" is amazing -- can you keep yourself away from the mirror for very long?! Looking forward to "seeing the future" with you.

,How are things going. Getting enough sleep lately?Are you still clenching, I clench my teeth at night to so I wear a splint to help out.
How is the ball team doing?
I wonder if that vintage car you seen was a mid sixties cuda or a early 70s Road Runner or Charger. Love to have one like that.

I was looking in the mirror today noticing how wide my arch is getting. I still have a long ways to go to get my centrals in line. My mouth is going to be HUGE when I'm done. I have such big teeth. I can hardly wait. I've always thought a big smile was cool.

My teeth feel very weird now that the biting surfaces are meeting. I know I've mentioned it before but it's a feeling I just haven't been able to get used too yet.

6 days until my adjustment. One night until my baby turns 9!!!

All kinds of fun stuff to look forward to! They grow up so quickly, don't they. Feels like I was just bottle feeding mine and he's almost 4 now. As for the smile, I like big wide smiles too! You're gonna have a Julia Roberts smile

Awesome to hear that your arch is widening. When you have your next adjustment, we wanna see PICS!! I am excited to see your progress!

Denise I stopped in to check on your story and can't believe I've been missing your updates! I didn't get my reminder e-mails, darnit!

Sounds like you are working on the clenching, which is good. I've noticed I clench more now too; I bit the inside of my lip the other night while I was sleeping and now have a big blister on the inside of my mouth.

Try to avoid doing that!

Baseball season is also obviously keeping you busy... good to hear you've had some wins!

Oh, about looking at your teeth all the time... I can't seem to go to the bathroom without taking a gander at my progress! So don't worry, you aren't the only one!

Good luck at your adjustment this week - I have one tomorrow morning. We will have to compare notes! Fingers crossed for both of us that we won't have sore teeth!

Ditto on the notify emails.... I'm jelous that the weather is good enough to play basesball. I know what you mean about the mirror. Even just feeling the changes with the tongue are awesome. Although I hope I am not getting into a bad tongue thrusting habit! There isn't much room in there for it to hang out. Hope the boys continue their "winning streak." looking forward to your new smile pictures.

Well, Denise, the humor was certainly still there. You had me laughing out loud. That is one of the reasons I am now addicted to this board. And how do you take such great arch pictures? Is it because you all can open your mouth wider than I can? Your pictures are great, and you must be pleased with the changes. I like the silver ligs, but I am so conservative. But I also am enjoying seeing what colors everyone else chooses. (You all might make a new woman out of me before this is over.) You are definitely looking good!

I hope your spacers don't give you too much trouble...
And good luck with those jaw exercises! Does this mean you will be getting elastics with your next adjustment?
Glad to hear you've had such a nice break with your kids. I wish school breaks meant work breaks so I could be spending my kids' break with them... C'est la Vie...

Wow, Denise sounds like you had quite an eventful visit to the ortho! Don't worry about all the whining, that's what we are all here for!

I'd be whining too if I had cleats on the bottom.... those things are little monsters until you get used to them.

I think your ligs look great, and good for you for going a little bold!

I'm sure in a few days you will be used to them. But hey, what's the point in living if you never step outside of your comfort zone?

You must have won the prize! Call your ortho on Monday and ask where you can redeem your findings and what the reward is!
