Today was my first adjustment! not as bad as I thought it would be. They did sand down between my teeth in order to make some room (sometimes its needed during six month braces treatment) and it was the weirdest feeling....or the sound perhaps. I had powerchains put on as well and it just felt like there was definitely more pressure on the teeth with the chains on. I can still eat...so its definitely not like when you are first braced...well at least for me. I've had no extractions so far, Doc said that hopefully with the sanding there will be no need for extractions. I guess I'll find out on my next adjustment. :
Glad to hear you are one step further in your treatment. Its good to hear you hav'nt had any pain with the powerchains, lots of people on here don't, although i do. My teeth feel sensitive after a change in powerchain but i look at the positive as it means there is movement.
