How about some yogurt or canned rice pudding? Or soup, just make sure you only heat it to luke-warm.
Hope you soon feel better!

When I had all four wisdoms out at once, I left the gauze in for about 6 hours. The first things I ate were pudding and pureed soup. For my recent extractions (2 top, 2 bottom in two appointments) I left the gauze in for only about two hours. I was eating twinkies and bean burritos the same day. Good luck!

I drank hot chammomile tea and it helped with the swelling and bleeding. This was about 2 hours after I had my extractions. The by dinner I was chewing soft foods like pastas and rice with soup. Of course I also took loads of painkillers so I could eat without too much pain. :)

Ive only ever had normal teeth removed not wisdoms but ive only ever had to bite on the gauze for about 30minutes after removal.

Id agree with the above tho if your unsure how long your best bet is to call the person who done it for advice.
