being in healthcare, I notice lots about people, but yes I too have noticed many adults who have decided to maintain and improve themselves. My partner and I are doing it together...he was told you should do it now, and I was told problems could develop later. Well, the best investment one can make is one's own health maintenance.

Again, like most everyone who has replied, the first thing I scan for on people is their teeth. I am very surprised however by how hard it is sometimes to tell if someone has ceramic braces or not. You would think I would know because I have ceramic uppers, but still they are very hard to spot unless they smile really big.

In ten weeks, I've yet to see another adult--outside of my ortho's office--wearing braces. But I'm still lOOking...

I have developed a habit of looking at people's teeth. And yes, I have noticed more people with braces. Mostly teens seem to have braces, but I have also seen lots of adults with braces. And two of my friends also got braces just recently.

Just this weekend I was having lunch at a local restaurant and the waitress said "Hey, I had braces too as an adult"

Seems like all those people with great teeth wore braces at some point in their lives. A few people are born with "perfect" teeth and the rest of us need a little help.

Looks like braces have become the new glasses.

I obviously notice a lot of people with braces at school.
Yeah, I've noticed that I look at people's teeth a lot more now. I tend to look at their teeth first. *shrug*

I haven't seen many---or any---adults with braces, though...except for a couple at the orthodontist.
