tick.........tock...........tick.........tock.................
I have my next adjustment on the 21st. I haven't been on in a few weeks. I was really ill. I was ill enough to have blood drawn. I don't know anything yet. Just tired all the time now. Boy, could I sound more depressing right now?!?!...........Sorry....................When I figure out what I did with my camera, I will try to post an updated pic. When I stopped in to make a payment a few weeks ago, one of the ladies there commented on how straight they looked already. I see it. I am glad. I hope to ditch this original bottom wire. I had one of the bite separators come out too--------the blue cement blob on the left side. I don't know if I ate it, swallowed it in my sleep, or removed it with a food particle when brushing. I hope to ditch that too on my next visit. Then I will at least feel more normal about wearing braces and eating and such. We shall see......

Sorry you haven't been feeling well, PP. I hope everything turns out OK when you get the results of your blood workup.
I've been wondering how you're doing. I couldn't see the pic for some reason, so I'm unable to comment on it, but I'm glad you're seeing some progress with the teeth lining up.
Here's to your getting the other separator off soon! I think I'll probably have to wear my molar buildups for a while yet, but that's OK -- I'm used to them now.
Take care, and let us know how you're doing!

Well, Thank God! Blood work came back normal. I don't get it. I am glad though. I am FINALLY feeling more normal. Still a little lingering tiredness, but for the most part pretty good.
ON to the fun stuff.........
Friday September 21 was my 3rd appt I guess...2nd after banding. I got to get that silly bottom wire that kept popping out when I ate melons, sandwiches and stuff like that. He ground down the "little blue hill" over halfway on my bottom molar. I can chew a lot better now. I asked him again....."When can it be gone!!" So he sat down to check things out for himself again. Then he says, "What time is it?.....hmm....oh heck I have time." He takes off the top wire that he wasn't going to change, puts a bracket on my back molar, and says he is going to force my molar back into its socket a little. I have never heard of that before. Has anyone heard of this? It is lower than the rest of my teeth and that is part of the problem. That is when I told him that pain does not concern me, as long as it is safe progress. He laughed. They all think I am a nut at the orthos anyway. They tell me I am WAY to happy to be there. They just don't understand how long I have waited and how cool it is that I am going to have straight teeth!!!!! SO, yep! I asked for it, I got it.........pain. I just chew through the pain. In 6 hours time, I already had movement. I have an actual space between 2 of my bottom teeth that were touching before my appointment. When my dumb camera batteries recharge, I will take another updated pic. Night everybody!!

Sorry it has been so long!!!! My fourth grader having homework trouble again...........Now it is Christmas Break!!! WOO HOO!!
My last visit with the ortho was right before Halloween and nothing was done at that appointment. He wanted to see a little more progress.
At my visit on November 30th, I got the package deal:
Titanium wires
elastics-one for maintaining and one for great movement
Power chain on top to keep them together
I was going to get pink.........but I got red this time. I had spaghetti on the brain and thought I might be eating a lot of it. LOL I am going to get a pic up here soon!!

Wow....it has been that long?!!
I guess I haven't kept up as much as I should have......I will have to catch up the progress pics and give the final result!!! I got them off 3 months early for following directions!!! It feels good to be able to eat food and not feel like it is such a chore to do so. Having braces is a humbling experience. I had them on for 15 months. I was told 18-24 months. Yay.
I got them off on September 24th. I pick up my hawley retainers on the 27th in the morning. I got Glow Pink with music notes on them.
