Spaces at the molars...

...where the molar bands were. Since my lowers were taken off, the spaces are still there, and annoying since food gets stuck there all the time!

Will my teeth 'settle' to close these gaps, or will they always be there? How are everyone elses molar band spaces?

I also have spaces where my molar bands where on top and bottom. I was told that it would take a few months for those spaces to close but that they should close eventually.

hmmm i have an essix for my lower and will for my upper too tomorrow

I will have to ask about this tomorrow! Still, excited that the top lot is coming off!!! thanks

Well I didnt get my top ones taken off due to a gap not yet closed ...by about half a millimetre

but i did ask my ortho about this, and he said that my teeth should settle ok, apparently teeth have a forward movement anyway, and this gap (about 1mm) should close in time..

and apparently I am getting a hawley for when I graduate to night time wear in 3 months, I guess something can also be done if things havent righted themselves by then...
