I've just been braced today....Everything went fine but I'm just really curious as to why my brackets on my upper teeth are positioned very low. From all the pics i've looked at most people have theirs near enough to the centre. I think it makes my teeth look shorter!!!
Mine are low too...I'm assuming it's based on where your teeth are now and the way they need to move your teeth. I doubt it's just preference since others at my orthodontists office have their brackets more in the middle.
Mine are low on my front bottom teeth. I am wondering if when I go for my repositioning appointment on the 28th if the brackets will be moved. Sometimes my gums under these brackets seem irritated.
My tops (all brackets) look low but, I was told they are custom placed and how my ortho wants them to move, has to do with bracket postion. I get bottoms on in twoish months! I'll ask for more info then!!
