lol "Tommorrow's the day......WoooHooo, or Oh Crap" You will be fine just remember:

After your b-day ...
* continue the daily salt rinses
* wax to prevent sores
* keep your body well hydrated
* chew to increase blood flow in your gums
* make sure your oral hygiene is A1
* be confident with your decision
* remember ... braces do not prevent us from doing anything, only we can do that!
* stay positive!

Take pictures so you can see the progress!

Its not a bad experience unless you decide to make it one.

Ok, happy b-day my butt....i hate young, stupid little girls who are a week out of school..........trying to put junk in my mouth........

To begin, went in, everything is fine........ortho intro'ed the assistant who would be putting my brackets on........she says "hi, i'm Melanie and i'll be working with you today....further into it all, etching and all, she goes to put a band on one of my back molars which is a crown, it doesn't fit, so she pulls it off and get another, it fits.......so she pulls it off and goes to put cement on it, puts it on and pushes down on it......it won't seat right so when she pulls it off........out comes the intire crown.............OOOUUUCCCHHHH.........

Ortho comes over and says for her to move, he looks in and says i'll have to go to my dentist to get it put back in before he can finish.........

I need a punching bag.............

Oh man, I'm so sorry. That's such a bummer. As frustrating as it is, try and stay positive, because before you know it you'll have the smile you want.

Do you know when they'll be able to try again?

Ok...I gotta get the crown put back in this afternoon.....and the earliest i can get back in to the ortho is Dec. 18th. BUMMER....that will be right before the big Christmas Feast..........or should I say, my Holiday Slurpee!! :lol: ........Oh well.........the ortho just called me and apologized for what happened. He said he would take care of the bill with my dentist to get the crown put back on. That's a relief..... :)

What a pain :evil: I'm glad your ortho is going to foot the bill to get the new crown placed though.
