DONE! wooo hoo

#1 Post by teisha »

After 22 lowers and 15 uppers, and 3 refinement trays, im donezo!! I'm very excited and happy with my treatment. Now that being said, there is one bottom tooth that is about a fraction off, but the only person to notice is myself. Everyone else notices straight teeth! I know if I had gone for traditional braces it would be perfect, but im much happier with the treatment from invisalign. No wires, done after 14 months, and not many people noticed while I was in treatment.

The worst part of my experience was the IPR. Most times it didnt hurt, but on one occasion in May, I got it really badly (even now the tooth it was done on is still ridiculouly sensitive to any touch). But other than that the pain was always bearable. Invisaglign didnt change my lifestyle habits, and frankly i'm very happy with the treatment. Maybe i'll try uploading some photos on here. Oh another good thing is now that my teeth have been straightened my gingivitis is GONE! yay. (I had sever crowding which made it difficult for the teeth to be cleaned properly).

So good luck to everyone else! I hope your treatment goes well, and doesn't hurt too much:) Happy smiling!

Congratulations Teisha, I just started my treatment today, I had IPR done today in some teeth and will have more done next visit (2 weeks). I'm not that worried with pain associated with IPR, but rather with the fact that it will make my teeth look smaller... am I correct?

Anyway, feel free to take a look at my story viewtopic.php?t=22737&start=15
and good luck with your "after invisalign" life!
