Probably we all do but:

When the ortho gives me a new set of trays and puts one in right there, it is a sore day for sure, but if I put in a new tray at night and sleep with it, the next day is not bad at all. So if you are doing your changes first thing in the morning, consider a night time change over. Much smoother transition.

I just changed to my second set after dinner last night. I figured that would give at least 12 hours before I have to take them out. I wouldn't want to pull a new tray out after only 3 hours to eat. But it looks like I am going to have to do that with the next set since I have to go in for 6 attachments at 9:30 in the morning! I hear that taking them off with attachments is a bit more difficult...?

Yes, that's a GREAT tip! Thx for sharing that with others. I read about that on here and have been doing that with mine each time I change and it has been AWESOME !!!

The night I change them I take a few tylenol and pop em in a few hours before bedtime. Don't gross out here, but the next morning I don't brush my teeth - I just rinse extra good with mouthwash. Then, I get a power smoothie or something like that for breakfast/lunch to hold me over. So, I end up leaving them in for about 15+ hrs the first time each set are in.

SharonD, yes getting the aligner over the buttons the first few times is tricky, but as the teeth get into line, it becomes simple enough.
