We got our braces on the same day!!!! yay at the end of this month it will be 8 weeks in, (2 months)

Got my 2nd adjustment done on 5-10-2007 and wanted to share some pix of the progress...

still no pain or discomfort...little tight after the adjustment, but it was gone in about 3-4 hours at most...

They finally added a bracket to the top tooth (on my right side) and they added a power chain to the bottom to start closing the gaps...

next appt - 10 weeks!

I go back today for another adjustment and figured I would add the new pix before I go in this afternoon.

I guess unless you put them side by side - you really don't realize how much stuff can move without you really noticing it.

I am amazed at the progress I have see so far...simply amazed.

I am pretty happy with the results so far - except one thing...

Waiting for 2 years thinking about doing it -

- I would already be done by now if I had just made it a plan to do it.

Oh well - such is life right.

Well - nothing really new to report...

My ortho has tried to close my lower gap since my tooth was extracted - we are getting closer, but we are not there yet...

I am supposed to start on rubber bands today at my appointment - that should be fun...

Thanks for the encouragement and advice along the way everybody - I am still not a huge fan of having braces, but the end result will be -

I have included my update pix of the top and bottom rows at week 36...

Here they are...

Moved a few brackets to assure roots were straight and have been in elastics now for 8 weeks to correct overbite.
