Done, but not straight

#1 Post by michelle88 »

I'm absolutely frustrated. I've been at my dentist, I'm done, but my teeth are not straight, they told me, that I just think that they are not straight, but they are, excuse me? i'm not blind.

They said i'll get a refinement, but they dont know if it'll work.

also, they said, maybe it is the fault of a captivity, because this destroyed one of my teeth? Is that a caries? What does this have to do with Invisalign?

I'm so frustrated right now :(

i may be looking at the same thing...im on the last of my bottom trays and there is a tooth thats a bit higher and slightly off. ive still got about 10 trays to go on the uppers so im hoping maybe this can be addressed. or maybe just shaving the tooth down is an option... i dont know.

yes sounds like the same problem. my dentist said its not true they are straight, but i feel they are not, one is more in the front.

i can go ahead with the refinement, but still have trays for the bottom, what would you do, wait with the refinement or go ahead with it?

i have my visit tomarrow so i guess ill find out what he's going to do. if up to me, id have them do the correction now and not wait till the upper ( 11 more trays ) is finished.

not that I know anything about your teeth, but sometimes the shape of a tooth can make them not look straight. I have an upper canine that appears to be twisted, but it's really just a strangely shaped tooth. The dentist could shave it down if I wanted, but I don't.

This happened to me too - we went ahead and took impressions for the refinement and started that today before the bottom trays were finished. I am lucky so far in that the new upper trays were the same amount of trays as the lower ones - but I saw my clinchek and I feel like the last image didn't show totally straight upper teeth either :(
