Hi TeeTracks

I'm originally from Dublin but have lived in England for many years. I think there are a few people from Ireland here but not many.

Hi Lola,

I don't have one myself but I'd say boots is your best bet. Have you given them a try?

The boots near me didn't have them. Argos has the most basic one only which I didn't really want. Its 45euro, and I just found the large one online for 80dollars (50dollars plus 30dollars postage) which is only 50euro so I'll be better off buying online!

Hi there, I'm from Cork, have my braces on since January 08, have another year and a half left. The ligatures are driving me mad! I have the Ice braces and clear ligatures and find that they change colour very easily esp after certain foods. I've trying my best to stay away from curries etc. There are times after getting braces tightened when practically I live on soup which doesn't help the ligatures. Can anybody suggest a different colour that wouldn't stain as much or do you know if the dentist can put the white wires on other teeth also?

I've got clear brackets up top, and at my first adjustment, my ortho put white wire ties on - he said they'd stain less.

I'm nearly due for my second adjustment now, and they do seem to be as white as they were before.

Maybe best to just ask if he will?

I'm not sure of the actual brand name, but they do seem to be the inspire ones (or something very similar). The brackets are actually clear, rather than white.

I'm due to my ortho pretty soon for an adjustment - I'll ask him then.
