I am getting my top braces on tomorrow and was wondering if there is anything I should be doing today.

All advice is welcome! I am getting excited!

treat yourself

Good for you! It'll all go smoothly. It takes a little while to adjust, so remember afterwards to give yourself some time. I would get some good soups and soft foods lined up for a few days at least. I would also buy some of those instant breakfasts and have one in the mornings.

Today, I would eat some of my favorite foods - some things that will be a little harder to eat with braces. I had a nice restaurant steak. And later I had some crunchy nachos, and I have to admit some hard candies and caramel : )

if the photos your ortho's office took are digital, be sure to get the images from the camera. i waited a few weeks before realizing i never had a close-up shot of my overbite. when i called the ortho, they had already deleted the images from the card. arghhh!!

so get the photo images--i paid $50 & don't have them, except for the collage that seems to be the standard for ortho practices.

and don't be afraid to wax, baby, wax.
