I have bite turbos on the backs of my upper front teeth. The only place my teeth touch is where the bottoms touch those turbos. I am a teeth grinder at night and I will wake up and my teeth are clenched together so hard that the pressure on those turbos is incredible. When I finally wake up my upper teeth feel bruised and tender. Could the clenching put so much force on those turbos to break the tooth -- all that pressure in one spot since no teeth touch.
i have the same problem. when i wake up my teeth will be clenched and some of them will hurt. I havent told my ortho anything, but last time i went she said "wow youve been grindind a lot i can tell". I was like...."oh".
