I got my braces on yesterday Was not bad at all. Only hard part was probably when they pushed metal bands to back molars I had to bite down really hard to get them in. Other than that everything was smooth sailing.
I tried to eat last nite but it was impossibe. My teeth hurt terribly Still can't eat today but otherwise , fine.

Good to hear that the process was smooth. I totally understand with the molar bands. I didn't like biting down really hard on them either, it was a bit painful. Are your ligs purple? They look great!
That's a pity you can't eat well I'm sure soon enough your teeth will heal a bit, and you'll be eating in no time. How long are you expected to be in braces for? Your teeth look pretty good at the moment, so hopefully it won't be for too long!

I'm not sure how long it'll be until you can eat... I'm on Day 8 and I still can't have anything solid. I don't know what you like to eat, but some nice "just swallow" foods that I've found are fruit cups, pudding, applesauce, and yogurt. My Dad also suggested going out and loading up on babyfood, so I'm doing that, too.
I'm jealous that you get purple ligs all the way around! My teal ligs are only on the top four and bottom four. Jeaaalllouuusss.
My sentence is 2 years. They don't look bad but they are. I have an open bite due to my tongue thrusting habit. My top 4 teeth stick outward. I also have a crossbite.
I am enjoying an ice cold slimfast shake Slimfast has become my best friend !
