Hello All,

Today was the first day of my adjustment. I must say that I am very pleased with how everything is working out. The dentist pushed in my wire today and it made this noise and he said that my teeth are moving really fast. He changed my ligs, and I was really surpised how fast an adjustment really is! My dentist also gave me a mirror and showed me that I have one tooth that is not on the wire. He said that he can not put that on the wire just yet, he is in the process of making room for that tooth on the bottom.

Am I happy that I got the braces?
Yes, I am happy that I got them after 27 years of my life. I just reget taking so long to finally take this jump!

Unhappy teeth,

You was right it took 4 weeks for me to see any type of movement with my teeth! I could actually move my teeth.

Thank you so much for coming by taking off your shoes and reading my story. The braces are growing on me to be honest with you. Today I had my Dentist put on Silver ligs and I'm so in love with them. Before I had pearl ligs on. I'm going to get silver ligs for now on fo sho! LOL

My cleaning went really well. Besides one area on the top of my mouth was really tender! He just watched that area, and cleaned everywhere else as he would usually do. My next cleaning isn't until Dec. FYI my Dentist that does my cleaning also has Braces!

So glad to hear your feeling better

sounds like you had a pretty good adjustment thats great your teeth are on the move. I hope you dont feel any soreness in the next day or so.. hopefully soon he will be able to wire up that tooth and get it in place with the others.. hard to believe almost a month has gone by since we have been braced.. I hope the next 23 or so go this fast LOL..

Hello All,

Yesterday was my first adjustment, and it went really well. I'm just giving a next day update with how I'm feeling, and if I'm about to eat. To be honest with you I can still eat with no problem and I'm not in any type of pain. I am praying that all of my adjustments go as well as my first one!!!!!!

I'm so loving my silver ligs!

Glad to hear your first adjustment went well!!

YAY you can still eat.. I hope that your not in any pain today.. seems most people have some pain after an adjustment but hopefully your doing great.. I would love to see some pics of your teeth and see how they are doing! are you noticing any changes at all? Post some pics when you can!

The third pic is a pic that was taken today. Does everyone see how my top has changed over that short amount of time?

As I'm sitting here looking at the changes I'm just so amazed at that much change in such a short amount of time.

When I went to my Dentist for my 1st adjustment he told me that I had a lot of movement, but I didn't believe him until now. My Dentist is now working on getting one tooth on the bottom connected to the wire, and I have a lot of tenderness with my bottom teeth. So lets all hope by my 4th adjustment that lonely tooth will be connected on the wire!!!

WOW your teeth are looking great misery.. what a change on your uppers in just a short period of time.. you must be SO thrilled!! Im sure it will be no time and you will have that tooth all wired up..

I dont think my pics in two weeks are going to look that great I have had alot of movement but is all seems to be weird at the moment.. keeping the faith though.. you still able to eat okay after your adjustment? hope your not in any pain!

Insinu8, I have to say that my adjustment was a breeze! I wasn't in any type of pain, and I was able to still eat afterwards! How are your braces treating you?

Shannon, OMG I can't believe how much they moved in such a short time. When I took the pic's I really couldn't believe it to be honest with you!!! I really look forward to going back to the Dentist on July 22, 08. I'm keeping you in my prays for the coils to come off in your next visit!!!!!

thanks for stopping by my thread, i'll be in braces anywhere from 12-14 months, but thats not set in stone lol.

Your teeth look awesome, i can't believe how much change there is in such a short amount of time. I hope that happens with me! can't wait for more updates, keep us posted!!

Hello All,

Tomorrow I go for my 2nd adjustment. For some reason I didn't feel a lot of movement as I did from my 1st adjustment. I'm hoping that my teeth moved enough on the bottom to get the last tooth on the AW.

I guess I will see tomorrow if anything changed. I will post new pic's tomorrow.
