New to site!

#1 Post by Lacey »

Hi! My name is Lacey and I have braces. I have ceramic clear on the top and regular metal on the bottom. I have had braces for almost 5 years! I am so ready to get them off. The bottom teeth are finish, I just got my bottom retainer about a month ago. But we are still waiting on top ones. I will be SOO happy to have these off.

Just wanted to say HI! :)

Wow, 5 years is a long time. I bet you ARE excited to get them off! Why has it taken so long?

Well according to one of the girls in the office it has taken so long because I had 2 babies. Even though I specifically asked if it would make any difference.

Welcome. :-1 Why would having babies make it take longer? Unless it's because you didn't have time to go to your appts. That I would understand.

I don't know? The girl said that your teeth don't move as well when you are pregnant? I made all my appts accept for when I was in labor! So I have NO idea?! I just want to get them off.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Just wondering if that is a factor... Anyhow welcome to AW Lacey and my fingers are crossed that your debonding day is in sight!

yeah no problem. I'm 26. So I was 21 when I got them on. I wouldn't think my age has anything to do with it. But I guess you never know?
