how loose is too loose

how loose is too loose

two of my upper back teeth are very loose. when brush my teeth they wiggle and when my top and bottom teeth come together they move. saw ortho today. he said he has seen looser but mine are pretty loose. should i be worried.

I think it's expected for your teeth to be somewhat loose as they move. :D

If your ortho says its okay, then I wouldn't worry. I know it will be uncomfortable, but the braces are there to literally hold your teeth in too :D My teeth get really loose sometimes and its more annoying than anything because of the sheer pain involved, but they eventually "harden" and things feel better.

Isn't that a creepy feeling? I get creeped out when my teeth start wiggling, mostly because I have periodontal disease. I can't tell if it's normal wiggling, or if it's too much because of the disease. My ortho keeps saying it's fine though, so I try not to worry about it.
