I wasnt given an option on the type (in fact I didnt realise there were different ones till i read the "Different types of linguals" topic!)

Yeah they're a bit cheaper, how are you finding them?

Theyre ok, well.. relatively! I think I'm having the same problems as everyone else here!!

I suppose it's difficult to compare the types as I doubt there are many (any?) people who have tried different ones... apart from cost I would probably go with what the orthadontist is most experienced working with.. youre going to be in pain whichever ones you get!

loopyloo wrote:That sounds way too much! So doing both would cost you £8000? I wasnt even quoted that at the leading lingual ortho at Harley St London!

I have no idea if this exchange rate etc would affect it, but if I was you I would go and get another quote, possibly somewhere outside Manchester city centre if you can. At one place I was quoted just over £4000 for both sets - still in London. Hopefully someone on here can recommend you somewhere in Manchester.
Loopyloo, can you let me know where you got quoted just over £4000 in London. I really want Linguals but have been quoted £6000 for top & bottom which I just cannot afford without going into debt.
