I'm due to have my debanding this Tuesday. I am concerned that he's going to say, no, you still need more time and send me home. I've voiced my concerns that although my teeth have moved a lot, they are still a bit crooked - I can feel it with my tongue in the backside of my teeth. They've assured me that the Essix retainers will take care of that...?
I want these things off in the worst way -it's been a long two years. But I don't want to rush things if I need more time. Has anyone had a debanding date and then it got postponed? I'm nervous as hell that this will happen! Thanks,
Gracie
Do they ever change their mind when you get there???

Hello there, I seem to be in the same boat as you. I'm scheduled to get mine off in a month, yet I have 1 tooth that is still slightly crooked. Yet, despite seeing this slightly crooked tooth, he told me that they will take off the braces on my next appointment. I don't know if the crooked tooth is something he expects to be straight between now and my next appointment (this 1 tooth has been in the same crooked postition since the day I got my braces on), or if he doesn't think it can be straightened and just wants to take them off anyways.
All I want is to get this metal out of my mouth.
