what are refinements?

hey everyone!

so i was just browsing and saw many forum topics on refinements. my ortho never mentioned them so i have no idea what they are! can anyone help explain?

Meryaten is correct. My dentist told me any refinements I need were included in the original cost, yea! Because I had a difficult case to begin with, he knew I would need refinements at the end anyway. I am on 26 of 28 now, refinements next month.
