WARNING bad teeth.

#1 Post by smiling pretty »

Right here is pics of me debraced and hurting!lol some of the pics I take you can't see the discolouration so I set out to capture it...how sad eh? Hope your not offended easily, if so look away NOW!

Anyway I told the ortho about the grainy feeling on my bottom teeth and he looked at it and said it was 100% glue from the brackets and it will flake off.....this was about 6 hours after a QUICK scale ond polish from him after he took my brace off....well I think its dirt that won't move but he argued it isn't...what do you think?

Also can you see they look a different colour from the rest (look more grey)...my teeth are kinda see through so is it just that but worse????

Anyway all suggestions will be good....(seeing denist on the 24th April so hopefully they will shift whatever it is!!)

all my teeth are sensitive but the ones I marked are the worst...

I would have to say maybe it's stained glue or possibly buildup. I got some buildup in the same area from not being able to reach it properly with braces, but it was white like tartar. I can also still feel some glue on my teeth, but I'm going in for a cleaning as well to get it removed. Good luck with everything.

I had a cleaning at the dentist right after I got de-braced and they got most of the discoloration off. I am now using whitener to get rid of the rest and it's going away nicely. See what your dentist says! And it really isn't THAT bad! :)
